AS Pontoise Cergy: The Title Hamsters Rely on the Youth Players
DONIC supports no fewer than four partner clubs in the French 1st division, and out of this quartet, it its AS Pontoise Cergy that has won the most titles: Champions League winner in 2014 and 2016, ETTU Cup winner in 2020, French Champion in 2015 and 2016, on top of that several top rankings – Pontoise, already a DONIC partner since 2005, has almost always been at the top of the list so far.
And they coach top-class young talents, too: The club has had its own youth academy for a few years now, which is continuously developing. Numerous young talents are gathering there, some of whom have already attracted attention with remarkable results and belong to the best young players in France. DONIC is very much convinced by this concept. The traditional brand also supports the academy and the youth players.
The club from the historic city just 30 kilometres northwest of Paris is run by Louise (president) and Christian Adam (manager) and hasn’t had any foreign star in its team in this season so far, but there are several French national players among them. And who knows, maybe the next future national player is just growing up in Pontoise's youth academy.
